(Photo by Nick Laham/Getty Images)With the Dallas Cowboys out of the playoffs again and the other Dallas area sports teams (Stars, Rangers and Mavericks) also having less newsworthy seasons, some are calling the report by Irvin a hoax. Illustrator Mike O'Neil posted on my Facebook wall today, "Like most, I call BS on this whole story. He's trying to drum up an audience for his failing radio show." Hmph* If it is a hoax, then the former player turned journalist stands to lose a ton of creditability with his base group of fans.
