Lockhart Line Music - Charles Bradley ~ The World is Going Up in Flames!!
Wazzappening world. It's been quite a spell since I've had a free minute or two to drop something in your ear so since the time has presented itself today, here goes...
Yo, you've got to check out the man Charles Bradley. His world-wide hit joint "The World is Going Up in Flames!" off his 2011 album No Time for Dreamining is what's hot, today, tomorrow and forever in this guy's opin.
The first line of the song hits you in the gut with, "This world...(is) going up in flames and No one wants to take the blame." and then while you're still trying to find your breathe, Bradley with a soulful mourn screeches, "Don't tell me; how to live my life. When you've never felt the pain."
Man, if that doesn't proceed to fillet the spirit to it's inner-core, then I don't know if you're still breathing on the other end of the line. Take a listen and enrich the soul.
Much respect....

Poetry by RD....Being with you
Being with you….
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that makes my heart sing…
Each morning you grace me with your precious glow as pure and as sweet as the winter’s first snow
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that is sweeter than sweet…
The warmth and love in your eyes makes my heart skip a beat!!
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that makes all my dreams come true…
Your hypnotic smell entices me with visions of banana bread and cinnamon treats :D
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that brings me joy…
Whenever I get sad or down in the dumps you know just what to say lighten my load!!
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that makes me feel like a king…
In times of doubt you don’t scream or shout, because you have the grace and wisdom of a queen….
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that makes me feel smart…
When I get tired and full despair you find a way to show how much you care!
Being with you my baby boo, is the one thing that sets me apart…
Because being with you is the safest place for a man to store his heart

Lockhart Line 6.6 NBA Finals Gm 3 Report - The heat is on!!
The heat is on! After another furious finish in Game3, the Mavs now find themselves in a deficit for the first time in the 2011 playoffs (2-1) to the Miami Heat after Dallas-native Chris Bosh sinks the game winner in Game 3. The Mavs also find themselves searching for a Robin to their Batman AKA Dirk Notwizki. Sure Dirk's failure to come through with the game tying shot at the buzzer cost the Mavs, but their loss in Game 3 can't be placed at the feet of the big German. No that honor goes to J. Terry, J. Kidd and J.J. Barea amongst others........

Lockhart Line 6.2 NBA Finals Update - Dirk's hurt, who will step up for Mavs?

NFL News: Dallas Cowboys Update - Jerry Makes it Official Names Garrett Head Coach
The wait and debate is over. The often enigmatic Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones called a press conference on Thursday afternoon to officially announce that he has removed the interim tag from Jason Garrett's head coach title making him only the eighth head coach in Cowboys franchise history.
Jones conducted a brief interview process which included a token interview for long time receiver's coach Ray Sherman to satisfy the NFL's Rooney Rule (Rooney Rule explained)before making the move that many had opined was a foregone conclusion.
But, what does this move really mean for the fans?
Ahh yes, the fans. Those true-blue die-hard staunch supporters of the famed and self-proclaimed America's team have to be just giddy at the prospects of this new regime after a season of turmoil uncertainty and under-achieving players and coaches alike. With Garrett at the helm the team rebounded from their horrible 1-7 start to finish 5-3 and 6-10 overall. Not bad. But, a 6-10 season is not what Cowboys fans and the City of Arlington had in mind when the billion-dollar stadium and site of this year's Superbowl was opened a couple of years ago.
Jerry's assertion that Garrett will have the final say on not only his coaching staff but also the players on the field is refreshing and a first for the man who fired legends Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson for puppets such as Barry "Boomer Sooner" Switzer and the "Son of Bum" Wade Philips.
Unfortnately, the looming expiration of the NFL's current collective bargaining agreement with players casts a dark shadow on the upcoming 2011 season and could potentially result in a lockout. (Yahoo Sports)
Still for many, the hiring of Jason Garrett signifies more than just hope for the near future but also significant shift in coaching philosphy.
Garrett, a Princeton grad and former back-up to Troy Aikman, posesses a dynamic mix of youthful exuberance and tough-minded discipline that many believe will give these Dallas Cowboys the jolt they need to return to the glory days of the mid-90's.
