LHL: Really Different Sports-- Cleveland is LeJoycing!

Let them Lejoice in Cleveland. The Prodigal son is returning to Cleveland. The saddest day in Miami sees the #HeatNation show their true colors. Wow first Johnny Football now LeBron makes his return what's next for Cleveland? ??? Late reports has others (Wade, Anthony & Bosh) thinking of home as well. The rest of the world awaits the next NBA free-agent domino to fall... Up Next-- Who's gonna have the best conference now?? #East or #West

PGA

OK so after a dreadful return to the circuit @TigerWoods will play in his first major of the year next week at the British Open. Does he have a chance to win #15? Well it depends on who you ask. From Azinger to McIlroy everyone is weighing in on the now waning Tiger mystic. Still the @TigerWoods brand has a colossal amount of marketing pull. @Espn will have a Tiger-only channel as the former champion looks to regain his winning form. O/U he beats or matches Jack for most majors only time will tell. Age 37 is not an end but a beginning to a career in golf.

NFL

What time is it? Sorry, fans it's not yet NFL game time. But, you wouldn't know it on social media before the #Le-announcement today. I've seen more #CowboysNation hate and condemnation over the past few days that I long for training camp to start to see it end and preseason to begin. Alas, we have 55 days to go before real play begins. #HurryUpNFL

All things considered the start of training camp can't get here soon enough. I'm only going to say this and you can quote me, "The Dallas Cowboys are a sleeping giant ready to awaken from a 20 - season slumber." Argentina will find a way to thwart the Germans. I am still shocked at the horrible acts of a few affecting so many. Be blessed Brazil.

Aight,the 2014 World Cup experience is done for the US and I for one could not be happier especially after the beat down Germany put on host country Brazil last night. The US team has alot of maturing to do internationally before they will be truly ready to compete for a World Cup. So, it's on to the next one in sports news...

NBA:

@KingJames has the NBA world waiting with bated breath on his #Decision2. The part that's funny to me is that Cleveland & it's fans actually think they are in contention. Smh Rumor rumbling has Melo staying #KnicksStrong only time will tell if this leads him to a home town win...#ZenMaster bout to make 'em believers

NFL:

The always controversial @DallasCowboys have a lot to prove after they passed on a future hall of fame QB @JohnnyManziel in the draft. Another 8-8 season will surely send the #cowboysnation over the edge.

LHL:Really Different Sports --- Urban Camp Weekend

Ok so the only sporting event that was of any consequence to me was the #urbancampweekend down in New Braunsfel, TX. Not sure if you can call it a real sport but if you took the #riverfront hill challenge, you know like I know that this weekend was more than just an event, it was an adventure!!! The annual event put on by our humble hosts and all around stand-up dudes James L. Robertson, Gary Jermaine and Kevin Knight was, "live live all the way live!" Just about everybody was able to leave their worries and cares behind for two of the most memorable and drama free days on the calendar. You brothers (James, Gary, Kevin) and everyone that participated this past weekend are a bright and shining examples of "how we do it" and "how we are doing it" in 2014 and beyond. I truly believe that we made some truly life long memories and friendships in just a weekend. The wife and I are looking forward to the next adventure!

LHL : #behindthewheelreporting 6.18.14 -Bye bye NBA ...

OK so we bid a fond farewell to the NBA on this past Sunday (Father's Day) crowning Tim Duncan & the San Antonio Spurs world champion for the 2014 season, after a resounding 4-1 Finals series triumph over the now former two-time champion Miami Heat and their big three (Wade, Bosh, &King James).

The Heat didn't live up to their own expectations not to mention those of their fickle fan nation but it was the way the @spurs just throttled them from game 3-5 that really told the story in my opinion. Officially the King James experience was a tremendous success but in a "what have you done for me lately" league/society many may consider it a fantastic failure after going 2/4 in back to back to back to back Finals appearances.
What's next for the @MiamiHEAT? Who knows? Drama for sure, as the King again will have to again ponder a #decision. But, I'm going to celebrate Tim Duncan for becoming a now 5-time NBA champion and wish him well on garnishing a 6th title as the current cast of Spurs can't be beat.

Now...let's move on to what's next in sports the World Cup, MLB, Nascar, and NFL OTAs & training camps.

The @USASoccer team stunned a few folks with the opening win again Ghana but please believe Portugal will be ready in their next Group G match.

The boys of summer @MLB continue towards a surprising first half All - Star break and I'm a little worried about the Texas Rangers since 1st base can't seem to be covered with suffering an injury. Look for big league shake ups to occur in Texas should the Rangers continue to play less than .500 ball at home.

The race for the cup in @Nascar is heating up.with many fan favorites already securing valuable wins setting the stage for exciting match ups for what hopefully will see a new Cup champion crowned but the #48 will have the last laugh for sure.

As for the NFL OTAs and training camp's I'll just say this..."Take of yourself and don't hurt nobody else! "

LHL: #behindthewheelreporting 6.13.14 - World Cup begins

World Cup 2014 has begun! It's been a long week but the weekend is finally here & a World Cup, US Open, Father's Day weekend at that. The group play has begun with a win by the host nation Brazil however the USA doesn't kick off their quest for the cup until the 16th vs Ghana with no realistic chance of winning so say the experts. But, I for one salute the American national team eben without Landon Donovan,as they look to shock the world and hoist the coveted World Cup trophy this year!!! U-S-A U-S-A!!!!

LHL: 6.12.14 #behindthewheelreporting -- NBA Finals 2-1 Spurs lead; Game 4 must win for Heat

Holy Game 3! The San Antonio Spurs aided by leading scorer Kawhi Leonard (25 pts) & precision Spurs basketball, overwhelmed the Miami Heat & King James, spoiling their return home to South Beach. But, can they "do it again"? That's the question yet to be answered. The resilient 2 time defending champs have proven that they are "more than conquers" winning 13 straight playoff games following a defeat. But, if the Spurs shoot 19 for 21 in the first quarter of game 4 or better the Miami Heat better shoot 30 for 30. Should they fail to keep the pace & fall down 3-1, history will be against them for sure!
