TI VOTED!!!
Rapper votes with felony under Georgia law!!

Photo: Gregory Smith/AP Photo
GEORGIA- The KING has done it again. On Wednesday the 28 year old rapper T. I. (born Clifford Harris), cast his vote early for this year's presidential election.

Though recently convicted on gun possession charges, he has remained driven to get out and use his voice to be an activist and advocate for getting out the message to vote. Tip is the national spokesperson for the nonpartisan group Respect My Vote's "Get Out the Vote" campaign.

The importance of this year's election was so significant that Mr. Harris researched on his own and found that he is eligible to vote in Georgia because the state constitution says that to be able to vote, you have to have served your entire sentence, which includes all probation and fines and any other stipulations," said Matt Carrothers, the Secretary of State's director of media relations. (MTV.com)

Since he doesn't have to begin serving his prison sentence until March next year and is not currently on any other type of probation he only needed to be re-registered in his county to cast his ballot for the first time in his young life. "Feels like I've taken advantage of my right to become a part of the democracy," T.I. said in the release. "It was definitely worth standing in line and doing all the things people complain about voting. I think it's more than worth it." (MTV.com)

(PH) INALLY A (PH )ANTASTIC PHILLIES WORLD SERIES WIN!!
Phillies defeat Rays 4-3, take series 4-1

PHILADELPHIA, PA - HOW BOUT THEM PHILLIES!!! The city of "brotherly love" is on cloud nine today. Finally, after 28 long agonizing years the Philadelphia Phillies are World Series champions again. They defeated the scrappy upstart Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 in the longest World Series game played. Remarkably, their second championship comes on the anniversary of their first title.

"Thanks for your support! And let's do it again!'', said the Phillies 71 year old General Manager Pat Burrell. This youthful Phillies team is definitely capable to make another series title run but only two teams have repeated as series champions (Yankees and Blue Jays) in the last 30 years.

Cole Hamels, the MVP of the World Series, is only 24.

The much maligned Phillies and their rabid fans, really deserved this much anticipated championship. After setting a new low for futility last year when they lost their 10,000th game in MLB and franchise history, taking home the title this year has to be pretty sweet. Pitcher Jaime Moyer, a Philly native can attest to the sweetness of getting the coveted World Series win in his hometown. "It's not easy in Philadelphia,'' he said. " But when you win, it makes it that much sweeter.'' (AP)

The Closing Argument.

Barack Obama takes the stage with former President Bill Clinton at a campaign rally in Kissimmee, Florida. (Reuters Graphic / Jason Reed)

FLORIDA - Democratic nominee Barack Obama "palled around with a President" last night after he delivered what some of his campaign staff have dubbed "The Closing Argument" to America. The night definitely belonged to the Democratic nominee. With his opponent reeling due to a poor stance on the economy, a cash strapped campaign and infighting among members of the rank and file of the Republican party, Sen Obama went on a full press the attack with former President Bill Clinton at his side in the battle ground state of Florida.

Some say that the nationally televised ad, had the production value of a major motion picture and did little to show that he is ready to be president. To those people I can only ask them,"just what in the world were you watching last night?"

Admittedly, I must note that the televised ad was visual masterpiece. The warmth and patriotic symbolism could not have been more professionally orchestrated and sincere. Featuring several touching life accounts from real Americans, like Rebecca Johnston whose middle class family is finding harder and harder to make ends meet because of rising healthcare and food costs. Or Larry and Juanita Stuart, a retired family in Ohio who have had to take a loan on their home to their pay medial bills. Their stories helped him to reaffirm his plans to revitalize the economy by putting the working middle-class first and fixing the broken healthcare system.

Sen Obama's Republican adversary, Sen John McCain was expectedly critical of Obama reminding all of the broken promise to use only public financing to fund his campagin. "When you're watching this gauzy, feel-good commercial, just remember that it was paid for with broken promises," said McCain. (Boston Globe)

There are only 5 days left until the election and early voting ends this Friday on Halloween. I don't know if he closed the deal last night but, he definitely provided a beacon of hope to those of us in this country that really want change!!

HELLO WIN COLUMN!!!
Dallas eeks out defensive win against Bucs 13-9.

AP Photo/LM Otero

DALLAS - Whew! The fat lady can rest for another week. The Cowboys(5-3) "D" returned to form to make the difference today and possibly the rest of the season. The stifling "D" earned the hard fought 13 -9 win against the high flying Tampa Buccaneers (5-3) before a capacity crowd at Texas Stadium. It wasn't pretty early or often, but it was pretty effective.

"Coming through at the end, that's what you have to do," Phillips said. "Our defense certainly stepped up today. Our offense had a tough time, but that touchdown before the half was a big, big play." (ESPN.com)

Fast Facts

• Leading by four, the Cowboys stopped a late Buccaneers drive in Dallas territory to hold on and snap their two-game losing skid.

• Brad Johnson went 19-for-33 for 122 yards with 1 TD and no interceptions. He had three interceptions last week against the Rams.

• The Buccaneers had six drives into Dallas territory but come away with only three field goals. Jeff Garcia had 228 passing yards with no TDs or picks in the loss.

• Terrell Owens had five catches for 33 yards. He has only 11 catches and 100 receiving yards in his past three games.

• Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware failed to record a sack, snapping his NFL record-tying streak of 10 games with at least one sack.

-- ESPN research

The last few weeks have been really tough mentally and physically for the players and coaching staff. Getting the hard nosed win helped everyone breathe a much needed sigh of relief. After the defense held Tampa out of the end zone in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter to seal the victory, the Cowboys sideline erupted with elation. But, this veteran team remains poised and optimistic towards the future. "If we allow it to be more than a win, then it can be," linebacker Greg Ellis said. "We have to take the same approach each week, but if we don't build on this, then this one will be just like one of the rest."(dallasnews.com)

The chance of a lifetime...

ATLANTA, Georgia - Ann Nixon Cooper, 106 years old, lived during a time when blacks and women did not have the right to vote. Now she relishes the opportunity to vote for the first African American presidential nominee, Barack Obama. She proudly boasts that she is ready to see the first black president. "I ain't got time to die," she said.

Ms. Cooper and her late husband Dr. Albert Cooper have always been involved in the black social movements of the time. "Our days and nights were just social affairs," she said. The home was a center of Atlanta's black society and the scene of many parties. Celebrities, including the late singer Nat King Cole, dropped in to visit.

The road to the White House is still a long winding perilous journey filled with uncertainty and Ms. Cooper was poignant in pointing out the significance of the Obama nomination. "Even if he didn't win, I was happy for him just to be nominated," said the former socialite. "

With her usual eloquence and grace she gleefully voted early this year for her candidate. She offers to young people some very sound advice for happy living.

"Keep smiling. No matter what, you get out and vote. Vote your choice."

POLITICAL FANATICS MUST BE STOPPED!!

They done up and done it now!!!! Well at least "this one" has.

Ashely Todd a Republican college student, McCain supporter and resident psycho, concocted a whale of tale that has pulled the McCain campaign down to new depths and opened some very old American race wounds. In the sick sad spirit of the lynching of Emmett Till or the absurd claim lobbed by Susan Smith, Todd proclaimed to police and on the internet that a large African American Obama supporter had mugged her.

Not only did he steal the $60 she had just gotten out of the ATM in a rough Pittsburgh neighborhood, he also punched and kicked her a couple of times before carving a backwards "B" in her face. And why did she say that it happened, because she had a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on her car.

Guess what? She confessed... IT WAS ALL FRIGGING LIE!! A disgusting, revolting, race dividing lie.

Is this really how you want to be remembered? Do you really want the record to show that you were so afraid that your candidate had no chance to win that you would resort to this sort of vile racist tactic? I was so shocked and repulsed by this report. The fact that it has gotten so much time on mainstream television just makes things worse.

With only 11 days left you have to know that we've only touched the surface. The claims will become more egregious. But as we inch closer to history be not afraid they won't get this one like they did in 2000. Be not intimidated. Carry on the fight until the end. We must not be deterred by their hate. Our focus must remain sound and just. Keep the hope alive!! We will get the change that we need. GO OBAMA!!! GO BIDEN!!!

Lyfe arrested.

Wow. When are we going to learn to stop and think. I mean it's bad enough to be out drinking and driving but the TMZ report says he had a gun.

Now that dog just don't hunt. ...

What must he be thinking? I am only a passing fan of his work and I admit that I don't care to know all of his business (his prior conviction was for arson). But, by all other reports it appeared that he had been rehabilitated and was an all round good brother.

Now this. All I can say is keep your head up, Lyfe. Trouble don't last always. But when are we gone learn to stop and think.

15 days to go....
Obama gets Colin Powell's endorsement

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Once thought by many as the odds on favorite to become the first African American president of the United States former Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell crosses party lines and officially endorsed Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama for president on Meet the Press Sunday morning.

Gen Powell's endorsement is a major coup for Sen. Obama's campaign and another tough blow to Sen. McCain's. The former Secretary of State gave a very loquacious tongue lashing to the Republican party over the negative tone of the McCain campaign and he was also very disapproving of the choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for vice-president.

Cowboys roll-over for Rams, lose 34-14

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Dallas Cowboys rolled into the Edward Jones dome already singing the blues. After the 34-14 shellacking they suffered at the hands of the St. Louis Rams today, they are surely crying their weeping eyes out tonight.

With Tony Romo sidelined nursing a displaced pinkie injury suffered in last week's lost to the Cardinals. The Cowboys put their offense in the hands of 40-year old backup quarterback Brad Johnson. Being thrust into the spotlight was not new for Johnson and he seemed to have a good command of the offensive unit as Dallas rushed out to a quick, short-lived lead at 7-0. Their opening possession was a decent well-balanced attack. Then without provocation, the Cowboys seemed to enter the twilight zone and by the end of the first quarter the punch drunk Cowboys were down 21-7. The Rams defense was quicker and took full advantage of the many Cowboys mistakes.

"You thought you'd have a successful day," Johnson said. "As the day went on, we had miscues across the board. It kind of just got worse from there." (Dallascowboys.com)

Dallas had no rhythm to the offense and the defensive secondary was porous to put it light. Brian Stewart's unit looked puzzled and defeated for most of the game although there was one lone bright spot. Dallas' star defensive end DeMarcus Ware logged a sack for his 10th consecutive game tying a NFL record set by Denver's Simon Fletcher. He would rack up a total of three sacks and a forced fumble for the game. Although the team going down to it's third loss in four games soured any celebration about the record.

"It's not a big deal today," he said. "Maybe at another time. But right now, I'm focused on getting this team back to where we belong." (Dallascowboys.com)

Sure the injuries have transformed this team into a shell of its' former self. After going 13-3 and winning the NFC East Championship last year before being bounced from the playoffs by eventual Superbowl champion New York Giants. The Cowboys were odds on pick by many to hoist the Lombardi trophy at the end of this season. Now they are facing the reality of not making the playoffs at all if the recent losing trend continues.

A resilient Wade Phillips appeared to be stumped by his team's poor play but he wasn't throwing in the towel by any means after the game. "I don't have an answer for it," Phillips said. "If I did, we wouldn't have played like we did. But we're going to do something about it." (Dallascowboys.com)

The Cowboys (4-3) now have very little margin for error. Their next two games are going to be crucial for this team to remain in contention. A home game next week against a rejuvenated Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad (5-2) and then a tough road game against the defending Superbowl Champion New York Giants (5-1) before they get a much needed rest. Owner Jerry Jones whose thirst for winning is never quenched tried to remain optimistic about the immediate future of his banged up team.

"It is not the time to sit around and moan and feel sorry," Jones said. "Our fans are expecting more and they expect us all to get in there and come up with anything we can do to make us better." (Dallascowboys.com)

RODRIGUEZ MUST GO!!! RODRIGUEZ MUST GO!!

KIRTHMON F. DOZIER/DFP
Penn State defensive lineman Jared Odrick sacks Michigan quarterback Nick Sheridan in the end zone for a safety.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Michigan Wolverines have been down before and they will surely rise again. Just not with head coach Rich Rodriguez. Come on now to lose to Toledo last week on a missed field goal was bad enough. But the pitiful performance by the Wolverines on Saturday only added insult to injury as the Wolverines were spanked by Big Ten rival and BCS darling Penn State (3) 46-17.

"Even though it's frustrating, we're going to drive ahead," Rodriguez said.

The way that this team wilted away in the second quarter, never challenging the Nittany Lions again, has become somewhat of a badge of shame. Many fans watching the game had to be wondering, just who were these guys impersonating the Wolverines.

The fat lady is already tuning up as Michigan athletic director Bill Martin gave the besieged Rodriguez the dreaded public vote of confidence earlier last week just six games into his Michigan coaching career.

But that was before the massacre on Saturday.

Michigan returns to Ann Arbor for a match up with in-state rival Michigan State at the Big House next Saturday (Oct. 25). The Wolverines and Spartans will battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy in a 3:36 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised by ESPN on ABC.

ATTENTION DALLAS COWBOYS FANS...STEP AWAY FROM THE LEDGE!!

DALLAS, Texas - The October nightmare that is rapidly becoming the Dallas Cowboys 2008 season keeps getting more outlandish everyday. After suffering a gut wrenching 30-24 overtime defeat on Sunday to the Arizona Cardinals, the Cowboys learned that their fortunes on the had taken a significant turn for the worse. The past few years had been kind to the Cowboys injury-wise but the chickens have finally come home to roost.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Yesterday, A*K*A Blue Monday, the Cowboys found out that they would be without the services of starting quarterback Tony Romo for a month with a displaced pinkie fracture on his throwing hand. Although Coach Phillips was not ready to concede that he would be without his starting quarterback that long.

"We don't know how long he'll be out," Phillips said. "It depends how fast that heals, but he did do it on his throwing hand at the end of the game and he obviously had trouble throwing the ball on the last series there in overtime. The next two passes he couldn't grip the ball. He had sprained his finger before (in his career) and he thought that's what it was.

"It's a fracture that needs to heal. I'd say week-to-week right now depending on how quickly he heals. Different people heal differently as far as those things are concerned." (truebluefanclub.com)

Next came the news that rookie running back sensation Felix Jones would be out for at least two weeks with a strained hamstring he suffered in the same game against the Cardinals. He is still pending the results of an MRI.

News that pro-bowl punter Matt McBriar had suffered a fractured bone in his kicking foot on the final play in overtime on Sunday came next. And by all accounts, it appeared that the apocalypse was starting in Big D. McBriar's injury will require surgery causing him to be placed on inactive reserve (IR) essentially ending his season.

ROAD TO THE SUPERBOWL DETOUR AHEAD

If there is anyone outside of the Cowboys locker room that still believes this team is Superbowl ready then they need their heads examined. But, since everyone has jumped off of the bandwagon, there should be plenty of room for the players and coaches to come together and save their season.

Greek philosopher Lucius Annaeus Seneca once said,"What you think of yourself is much more important than what others think of you."

Tony Romo specifically, has to stop reading the negative stories in the tabloids, newspapers and blog sites which had been largely "lovey dovey" with the guy for most of his short career but have now turned against him and his team. Instead of reading all of the gloom and doom predictions he and the rest of the Cowboys have to turn their entire focus to the real mission at hand, which is winning a Superbowl. It starts right here, and right now!!

#5 Longhorns stun #1 Oklahoma 45-35
GUESS WHAT? OU SUCKS!!!

DALLAS,Texas- The 103rd edition of the Red River Shootout was one for the ages. The annual Big 12 rivalry game had plenty of "pop" as the Texas Longhorns (5) dismissed the previously undefeated top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners (1), 45-35 before a capacity Cotton Bowl crowd.

Whoever nicknamed the game the Red River Shootout, sure knew something about these two teams. Oklahoma sophomore Sam Bradford, leads the explosive Oklahoma offense and Texas junior Colt McCoy leads the Longhorns offensive attack. Both of these players were on fire today as they combined to throw for over 664 yards. Their teams combined to score 80 points, the most points scored in the storied game's history.

The Sooners came out like pole cat struck by lighting in the first quarter. They effortlessly took the game's first possession down the field in just 8 plays. Bradford torched the Texas secondary on the opening drive, completing four of his first five passes. His passing accuracy accounted for all but one of the teams' first 65 yards gained on offense. The last five was a bullet to Manuel Johnson and the game's opening touchdown score.

The Longhorns could only muster a field goal on their first possession.

Both teams would trade punts for the remainder of the first quarter before Bradford and the Sooners got a drive going in waning seconds.

Bradford would hit Ryan Broyles for a short 8-yard touchdown score early in the second quarter to push the Sooner lead to 14-3. But before the Texas fans could get down Colt's roommate would show a little lightning of his own.

A weakness of the Oklahoma team all season has been their special teams play. Texas took quick advantage of their poor play as Texas wide receiver and kickoff specialist Jordan Shipley raced 96 yards for the score cutting into the Sooner lead 14-10. The Sooners were unshaken. Bradford marched them right down the field for another touchdown score. On a third and four play, Bradford found Jermaine Gresham for a 52-yard beautifully spiraled pass that hit him in stride. He galloped untouched for the score and a 21-10 Sooner lead.

Texas stormed back with its own quick score at the 10:25 mark of the second quarter. McCoy found Shipley in the end zone for the score which cut into the Sooner lead again, now 21-17. The Longhorn defense hurried and harassed Bradford on the next possession and he threw his only interception of the game. The Longhorns needed the benefit of a roughing the passer penalty to keep their drive alive before settling for another field goal. The raucous first half was finally over with the Sooners ahead 21-20.

Texas won the coin toss and deferred so they got the ball to start the second half. They would stumble out of the halftime gate going three and out quickly on their first possession. Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles setup the Sooners in excellent field position on the punt. He returned it punt 24 yards to the Longhorns 49 yard line. Bradford and company would do the rest. Two passes later they would be setup at the Texas 14 yard line and after two rare Bradford incompletions, the sophomore starter found Manual Johnson for another touchdown pass his fourth of the day.

Battling back Colt and the Longhorns put together a sustained 12-play 89-yard drive that ate up 6:12 off of the third quarter game clock. McCoy would find his roommate Shipley again for a 2-yard touchdown score helping the Longhorns keep pace at 27-28.

Right about here is where Texas coach Mack Brown proved that he has turned the corner against his coaching nemesis Bob Stoops of Oklahoma. Stoops had been waiting until just the right moment to try some trickery and Mack was ready this year. On 4th and 6 from the Oklahoma 48, the Sooners setup for the punt but decided to run a fake. Texas sniffed out the play and stopped punter Mike Knall one yard shy of the first down. With wind in their sails the Longhorns were on the cusp of taking their first lead of the game.

Penalties were definitely an Achilles' heel of the Sooners for most of the day. They were flagged a total of ten times for 73 yards. When they were flagged a second time for roughing the passer, the Texas momentum increased.

Driving to take the lead late in the third quarter Texas appeared to blink. McCoy threw an errant pass that looked like it was picked off by the Sooners in the end zone. But, thankfully for the Longhorns the review officials decided to take another look at the interception play. Upon further review they overturned the call on the field of an Oklahoma interception and Texas kicked their third field goal of the day to take the outright lead 30-28.

As the fourth quarter got under way, the Sooners were again moving the ball down the field with relative ease against the Longhorns' defense. On third and 14 from the Texas 40-yard line Bradford hit wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias for 26 yard gain to the Texas 14. He would finish off the drive on the next play with his fifth touchdown pass of the day, Sooners regain the lead 35-30. They wouldn't score again as Texas took complete command of the game afterwards.

The Longhorns would go on to score 15 unanswered points to secure the victory and knock the hated Sooners from the ranks of the unbeaten. The win was also Mack Brown's third victory over Stoops in the last four years. The undefeated Longhorns are now in a very envious position, as they have a serious eye towards the Big 12 and National Championships respectively.

Investor worries increase on Wall Street, Candidates scramble to show economic prowess to Main Street

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., right, and Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., shake hands before the start of the town hall-style presidential debate at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 (AP Photo/Jim Bourg, Pool)

As fears of a global recession continue to rock Wall Street and domestic worries about the economy grow, both candidates are now focused on the economy more and more on the campaign trail.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Thursday said rival John McCain's mortgage rescue plan "punishes" taxpayers and rewards lending institutions that created the crisis, while McCain charged that his opponent's response showed a lack of concern for homeowners.

"He's opposed to us helping the homeowners of America," McCain said. "Do you want to help the homeowners of America, or do you want to help Wall Street? That's the question here." (washingtonpost.com)

Obama was steadfast in his disagreement of McCain's new 300 billion dollar plan for the government to buy up distressed home mortgages.

"Banks wouldn't take a loss, but taxpayers would take a loss," he said. "It's a plan that would guarantee that you, the American taxpayers, would lose by handing over $300 billion to underwrite the kind of greed and irresponsibility on Wall Street that got us into this mess." (washingtonpost.com)

Tuesday night's debate in Tennessee did little if anything to help bolster support for either campaign. Most analysts say that Sen. Obama actually won the debate but not by a wide enough margin to win the hearts and minds of those undecided voters. Hopefully, the final debate on domestic policy next week at Hofstra University, will provide a brighter glimpse of what the next presidential administration will be like for the next four years. With only 24 days left until we decide the presidency, regardless of which candidate actually wins the race for the White House, the current economic and domestic outlook may cause the winner to actually envy the loser.

Dodgers poised to keep the magic going against Phillies

LA Manny and Dodgers swept the Cubs right out of the playoffs into their caves for early hibernation last week. Now they face a young and hungry Phillies team that has a line-up stacked with lefties and power hitters from top to bottom. Manny's relationship with Phillies manager Charlie Manuel goes back to their days together in minors. They have continued a very close friendship over the years and share a mutual admiration of each other. Tonight they reunite in the 2008 National League Championship Series (NLCS) for the right to play in the World Series.

"He's an extraordinary talent," Manuel said. "And he loves to hit." (AP)

Manual and his pitching staff will be trying to throw everything including the kitchen sink at Ramirez and the Dodgers when the two teams face off in the NLCS.

The Phillies though find themselves in the NLCS this year after being swept last season by the Rockies in the National League Division Series (NLDS). They are focused and determined to perform better this time around.

"This team has a lot of heart," Myers said. "To be the first team to go this far since '93, it's huge. We're going to try to put '93 in the past. We're going to try to take it a little further and win this thing." (mlb.com)

The series definitely looks like a smash hit on paper but it will be up to the players to live up the moments. Getting the game 1 win is pivotal for both teams. History shows that the game 1 winner has gone on to win the series 13 of the last 14 years. The Cardinals beat the Astros in the NLCS opener in 2005 only to lose the series in six games.

Dallas gets ugly win, Bengals still looking for clues.

Dallas Cowboy receiver Patrick Crayton (84) celebrates after catching the game winning touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.

IRVING- The Dallas Cowboys (4-1) were finally able to cage the feisty Cincinnati Bengals (0-5) and "ocho-stinko" 31-22, for a huge bounce back win at Texas Stadium helping them remain in striking distance of the NFC East.

Tony Romo and the Cowboys won't get much praise or style points for hard fought victory but they got the win and that's all that matters. For the eighth straight game the Dallas quarterback found a way to turn the ball over. The throw to Rookie linebacker Keith Rivers was actually a pretty athletic play by Rivers, nevertheless, it was still high and away from Romo's intended target . He was LUCKY this week it didn't cost the Cowboys the victory like it did against the SKINS.

Said Romo: "You don't get crowned champions for being the best-looking team right now . . . We know that you don't win it right now. You just continue to get better and keep stacking up wins."

RUNNING RETURNED...

Rookie running-back sensation, Felix Jones touched the ball again and guess what he can run like the win blows. His first quarter 33 yard gallop to the end zone was magnificent to watch and gutsy play call on 4th and 4. Instead of passing the ball to T.O. or Witten, Romo pitched the ball to Felix Jones on a sweep around the right end, he went bursting around the corner and high-stepped it into the end zone for a 33-yard score.

OFFENSE STILL WORKING OUT THE KINKS!!

T.O. had a pretty pedestrian game with only 2 catches for 67 yards and a TD. However his team player attitude were evident in his hustle plays in the running game and on his 57 yard scamper across the field to pad the Cowboys feeble lead in the fourth quarter. Those were his biggest contribution towards the win. Sure, he would like to catch more balls, what wide-receiver wouldn't? But, he really has shown me that he is focused now more than ever to win a championship. I'm glad that he hasn't fallen into the trap that the media has been trying to set for him especially former Cowboy star Emmitt Smith.

Although this win wasn't pretty, the 'Boys were able to keep pace with the Giants (4-0) and the Redskins (4-1) in the highly contested NFC East. They face a much improved Cardinals team next week on the road and I for one hope they bring their "A" game to Arizona.
