Ex-con becomes honorary UTA coach!!

American essayist and psychologist Og Mandino famously said, "Always seek out the seed of triumph in every adversity." Finding the will to triumph in the face of adversity is something that we all encounter on our walk through life but, when a man is wrongfully convicted that experience alone can breakdown the spirit and diminish the desire to go forward. Last night, I saw a news story about a man who embodies the fullness of hope in the face of adversity. Patrick Walker was exonerated in July 2008 after serving 16 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Still putting the pieces of his life back together, Patrick is not burying his head in the sand or hiding from the experiences that have made him the man he is today. Check out the video I found this morning on DMN.
